Welcome to HBB Training Registration

The Maternal Child group of Association of Nigerian Physicians of the Americas would like to train
trainers and providers on ways to resuscitate new borns with breathing difficulties within the delivery
room/ delivery care setting. We would be performing the Helping Babies Breathe training to 100
potential trainees such as physicians, nurse midwives, traditional birth attendants and or personnel
involved in mother- baby care in the delivery room- who can be trained and potentially train other
personnel April 8a-5pm, the 9th and 10th in Abuja 2019 at the National Hospital Abuja.
OUR SERVICES 
About
Helping Babies Breathe (HBB) is an evidence-based educational program to teach neonatal resuscitation
techniques in resource-limited areas. The objective of HBB is to train staff in developing countries in the
essential skills of newborn resuscitation, with the goal of having at least one person who is skilled in
neonatal resuscitation at the birth of every baby.

Currently spearheading the program we have embarked on the commitment to train the individuals as
part of our commitment toward improvement of the MCH landscape and the individuals who are
identified as leaders in their profession namely; physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurses, would be
recipient of equivalent of training proficiency, certification in HBB giving them an advanced ability and
important skill set in the delivery room, ground ambassadors uniquely poised as leaders in their
field.The current investment involves the outlay of the cost of training being offered as equivalent of
N175,000 per individual. We are requesting from your institution _____ individuals that we would train
and we will absorb the cost of training excluding the responsibility of transportation to the training site
located in Abuja. Meals at the location will be provided. Also excluded are any lodging fees.
